Swallowing disorders (dysphagia) secondary to a neurological event and or weakness of swallowing musculature causing difficulty with drinking and eating

Voice treatment related to overall improvements in the quality and resonance of one’s voice, as well as treatment for disorders secondary to vocal fold trauma and or generalized vocal weakness

Dysphagia is a condition where a person may have difficulty swallowing

This may present as:

  • Pain or discomfort when swallowing

  • Choking or coughing during or after eating or drinking

  • The feeling that food or medication is getting ‘stuck’ in your throat

  • Overall difficulty getting food or liquids down

Voice Disorders can affect how your voice sounds or works.

Common signs:

Hoarseness or frequent loss of voice

Breathiness

Rough or harsh vocal quality

Pain or discomfort when you speak
